As the year comes to an end, the class of 2024 heads in different directions. But, before they go, it only feels right to give some seniors an opportunity to share about themselves. Sophie Lewinski
Q: What is your favorite animal?
A: “My favorite animal is probably a hairless cat.”
Q: What are your ins and outs of senior year?
A: “In : graduating. Out: schoolwork.”
Q: Are you going anywhere this summer?
A: “For my 18th birthday I am going to Poland because in Poland your 18th birthday is like a sweet sixteen here, we will have a big party and I am very excited. We will also go visit landmarks and museums.”

Leia Dressler
Q: What’s your favorite concert you have been to?
A: “My favorite concert has to be Tyler the Creator.”
Q: Do you play any sports?
A: “Lacrosse!”

A: “In: senior events and fun new opportunities. Out: advisory.”

Braxton Sipes
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
A: “My favorite movie of all time is ‘The Princess Bride’ and the greatest movie of all time is ‘Dune 2’”

A: “In: sports outs: AP Chem”
Q: If you could travel anywhere would you go?
A: “Anywhere? Turn 3 at the Michigan international speedway.”

Matthew Matola
Q: What is your favorite animal?
A: “I’d say my favorite has to be the rat. I like how resourceful they are, I like how they can exist in a number of environments.”
Q: What are your plans for next year?
A: “I’m currently planning on enrolling at the University of Michigan as a political science major and then maybe transferring within the university to become a public policy major in my sophomore year.
Q: What are your ins and outs of senior year?
A: “Senior year is very busy of course but I’d say make sure that you take time both to enjoy all the activities of senior year and all the clubs and extracurriculars. I think senior years really important to even maybe give yourself a harder course load so you can get used to what it will be like for college.”

Jo Devine
Q: What’s your favorite animal?
A: “My favorite animal recently has been a komodo dragon because I didn’t know they could get up to 250 pounds!”
Q: What are your ins and outs of senior year?
A: “Ins are really great teachers, trying to get more involved/school spirit, and Sam Klonke’s Wednesdays Wisdoms. Out is my HL essay.”
Q: What’s your favorite pastime?
A: “I love to draw and paint and I love music. I listen to it all the time, playing instruments, like the drums and guitar and doing homework at Desert Oasis or Atomic Coffee.”
Q: What are you most looking forward to doing in 2024?
A: “I might be going to Colorado which is cool. My family never really does big trips so I’m super excited.”
