Hi! My name is Mary and I’m a senior here at ROHS. This will be my second year on the Acorn staff, and I couldn’t be more excited to take on the role as co-editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Aside from Acorn, I’m also heavily involved with the band program, in which I’m clarinet section leader for the marching band. In my free time, I love spending time with friends, listening to music, reading, watching movies, and walking my dog, Zoey! I am so grateful to be a part of this publication and I am looking forward to this upcoming year!

Hi, my name is Mady, I’m a senior. This is my second year in Acorn Newsmagazine and it is by far my favorite class I’ve ever taken at Royal Oak! I am Acorn’s co-publicity manager alongside Caroline Johnston, I am a member of Interact Club, and I work at Target as a Specialty Sales Team member. More specifically, I work in the kids clothing department. Outside of school I love to hangout with my friends and my family. Some of my favorite music artists are Tyler Childers, Kacey Musgraves, and Morgan Wallen.
