Acorn Editorial Policy

acorn is a registered member of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA). The views expressed in acorn are not necessarily the views of Royal Oak High School, its faculty or its students. We will not print material that promotes the use of alcohol or drugs. We refuse to print obscenity or slander. Letters to the editor are welcome and encouraged. We reserve the right to edit or omit any part of a letter to the editor, which must include the writer’s name.

acorn meets in room 141 at Royal Oak High School. The acorn staff and adviser Ann Maudlin may be contacted directly at 248-435-8500 (ext. 1066 or ext. 1198) between 11:08 a.m. and 12:46 p.m., Monday through Friday.
